Eco Decarb Forward is a Massachusetts-based consulting firm specializing in clean energy, decarbonization, and community resilience projects. We provide techno-economic feasibility assessments, technology due diligence, regulatory and permitting support, site readiness evaluations, market intelligence, and project development services for commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects. Our experience includes BERDO compliance planning and building decarbonization, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy procurement strategies, low-carbon fuel infrastructure, and fleet decarbonization. Recent projects include developing a 10-year BERDO compliance roadmap for a commercial building in downtown Boston, assessing EV charging and energy storage deployment for a Massachusetts university, evaluating renewable energy procurement and VPPA opportunities, and supporting hydrogen mobility planning for heavy-duty transportation operations. The firm is led by Shadi Darvish, Ph.D., a multidisciplinary clean energy consultant with more than a decade of experience in techno-economic analysis, life-cycle assessment, regulatory compliance, energy markets, and project development. Prior experience includes supporting clean energy and infrastructure initiatives through work with DNV and Shell.
